Firmly attach sponge onto the Color Me sponge mount and apply foundation directly to sponge. With powder foundation, use the plush sponge and pat it directly into your powder compact or lid of your jar. Shake off any excess powder.   You can also use this sponge for full coverage with BB cream or liquid foundation.

Use the firm sponge for light natural coverage with traditional liquid foundation, BB and CC cream.  With liquids and BB creams, be sure to “season” the fresh sponge i.e. cover it with a full coat of BB cream or foundation then add another pump.

With moisturized skin, firmly push button to activate device’s sonic tapping action. Starting at cheek, move device in gentle sweeping motions. It is not necessary to rub or press hard. Blend jawline, upward to forehead, and hairline. Use narrow tip for nose, eye and lip areas. To build coverage, reapply foundation to sponge and repeat.

Color Me sponges are hygienic and disposable. Suggested replacement every 7-10 uses for sensitive skin. Sponges last up to 30 days if patted with alcohol or an alcohol-based cleaner or wipe after every few uses. Do not soak.

Seemed like an interesting idea but coverage was too heavy. My foundation started to smudge about 3 hours later. The sponges wore off really quickly and it is too expensive to replace them every fortnight

So so

I was initially over the moon to try out this product because of its so called features. I was expecting a stellar effect because in fairness it did live up to its expectation of being able to have the user feel every "fine pounding" to evenly smooth out applicated formula. My face frlt like it was being massaged but I had to do it even thrice to ensure it was evened out in every angle. Also having to change every week is a bit costly...

It's a vibrator. Sponge is small, soak up products. Can get to corners of my nose and under eye areas. Doesn't really blend well. I tried on 5 foundations - Makeup forever Water blend, HD foundation, Hourglass stick foundation, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, results are not ideal. I think beauty blender can do a better job or even I can blend better using my fingers. Waste of money. Do not buy. I don't know what to do with this now.

Didn't quite blow me away

I purchased this in hopes of making some of my liquid foundations work, as i have been having problems with some of them. There's still one product that is driving me nuts as it just does not seem to fully set, but this applicator worked with the others when brush and fingers couldn't do the trick. Sponge refills are darn expensive too, wish they made them a bit more affordable. I find that while it didn't make foundation application much faster than usual, it does allow my foundation better coverage for smaller amount of prodict dispensed. Plus it somehow helps the foindation set better and faster.

Time saver

I really like this product as I can manipulate it as I please by making enough pressure on my skin to get a fawless finish. The sponges have never came off and I can use it when I am in a rush in the morning. It takes me 5 minutes to use it. I use it to apply foundation but I also apply my tinted sun block with it. Recommend this product to women who like to good good for work purposes.

The sponge came off pretty quickly - upon trying out for the first time. Could not even complete my whole face. And the sponge refill is not cheap. Other than that, it is easy to use and the little result I could get from it isn't too shabby. Left me with little choice but to purchase more sponge refill. The alternative is to chuck it away . What a waste!
