Meh

When I bought this, my face was an absolute wreck. Cystic acne framed my jawline, tiny bumps filled my forehead, and pimples littered my cheek. It was depressing and I was desperate to find something that would help. This wasn't it. The bag is nice though, so I'll give them that. 1. Acne Facial Cleanser: Pretty standard stuff, didn't do much. I still have it and use it as a backup cleanser when I haven't had the time to head to replace my regular cleanser. 2. Cucumber Lotion: The single item that was okay for my skin. It was refreshing and the alcohol in it really disinfected my face without stinging or irritated the already irritated skin. 3. Drying Mask: Strong odour. Which makes sense, because it's sulphur based. It was also incredibly drying and messy to use. You dip your finger or a spatula into the pot and apply it on your problem areas and wait around for 20 minutes with a patchy muddy face and when it dries, it flakes. No. Just no. 4. Drying Lotion: Another troublesome product. You're supposed to dip a Q-tip into the bottle and apply the pink fluid on spots. Smelled bad. And did absolutely nothing for my cystic acne or larger pimples. Actually, it honestly did nothing at all except dry up the smaller, muuuch smaller spots. For reference, I have acne-prone combination skin — dry around the cheeks, oily around T-zone and I've found that the best way to treat acne is to speak to a dermatologist... who might administer drugs for you and very likely tell you to use: A) An exfoliating facial cleanser (I use a microdermabrasion one) B) BHA/AHA exfoliant (Paula's Choice yesss / if you've got sensitive skin, get PHA which is the milder version of BHA) C) A moisturising toner (I use Hera's Cell-Bio Essence. Amazing stuff) D) A good gel moisturiser (I use Crystal Moist's. It's lightweight and surprisingly good) E) For extra moisture, face sheet masks & facial oils on my dry areas like around the nose and cheeks (Rosehip Oil is great).

amazing😍

I have been using this product since 5 months ago and my acne starting to disappear. swear! i'm in love with this product. the cleaser and the toner is kind a miracle touch to my face. the drying cream of course,i'ts like a magic. you put the cream all over the night on the acne, and the acne starting to disappear tomorrow morning. although i don't like the smell, but i'ts ok as long as it works on my face.

A good kit to start all over.

I used to have acne all over my face. This acne kit is good to start over. The clay mask especially is very very good - it reduces the oil in my face. The cleanser is not harsh at all meaning its good for recovery. The pink acne medicine is strong - only apply on acne and not on skin. The toner is very refreshing. But I didn't need the acne cream.

value for money

I really don't need the bag or want it actually but I use three out of the five products in the kit and it probably adds up to the around the same price so I got this kit for the price more than anything. I like the toner, facial wash and the drying lotion. To be honest, I can do without the mask.

This set is really worth every penny. I have this set to my brother who has acne issue. He used it for a couple of months, his skin gets better after using it. No more breakouts and acne. Will definitely recommend this to all my friends who face acne issue.

Reduced my mild acne!

My most used product in this set is the drying lotion because it was the most effective. I don't recommend the cleanser for sensitive/dry skin as it was too drying and had a lot of possible irritants like alcohol, etc. But it did still reduce some of my acne. The toner was refreshing. All in all this is good for those who don't really have sensitive skin. But I wished this was more affordable.

Good.

I am a fan of Mario's products. This was a steal. I use 3 products in it frequently. However, I felt that the mask has too strong a 'medicinal' smell, and it was too strong for me to use it consistently. The drying cream is good to put before make up, but the smell was too strong as well, I had to keep smelling it throughout the day and it turned me off, thus I don't use it consistently too.

The facial cleanser and toner are really good at removing all the excess oil on the face. The toner is very hydrating and moisturises the face that I didnt have to apply moisturising face cream. The toner smells really good too.

Best buy

Definitely a best buy from MB. You get 5 full size items at a great low price. Also comes with a bag and mirror. I'm already using these items so it makes sense to order this set rather than paying more to get the items individually. I have really sensitive skin and these items are not too harsh on my skin and do help to prevent and clear up my acne.

Good product but result takes time

I would say that this is a good buy. With the price you paid for, you get 5 full size products that do the job well. But I'll have to say that the result isn't a speedy one. After almost a month of using, I still have tiny bumps on my forehead and on my chin but there's no more visible big acnes though, so that's good 😊
